Jordin Sparks finally moves on from Jason Derulo as she confirms dating rapper Sage the Gemini in new interview

Jordin Sparks has sparked a new romance.

In one of the least surprising announcements ever, the "Double Tap" singer has confirmed that rapper Sage the Gemini is her new man. Sparks fans had noticed that Sage — whom Sparks collaborated with last year on the song "Gasoline" — popped up on her Instagram feed in the last couple of months in snapshots that suggested more than friendship. However, he had previously denied they were dating, and she had played coy when asked about their status. Not anymore.

"I think [the photos are] pretty obvious," Sparks told People on Thursday. "We're having fun. He's a really good guy, and the pictures speak for themselves ... I don't just kiss people!"

And we're pretty sure the American Idol alum, 25, is locking lips with 22-year-old Sage on a regular basis.

Sparks also explained the origins of a hashtag, #baemaxx, that she used on a photo of her new man.

"Well, you know, Big Hero 6, the big guy was [named] Baymax," she told the magazine. "We watched that two weeks ago ... and I was like, 'I love the name Baymax. [Sage] was like, 'I'm your bae to the max,' and I was like, 'That's your nickname!'"

While Sparks has found someone new to be her "before anyone else" person, it wasn't long ago that she was broken-hearted. She and singer Jason Derulo called off their three-year relationship last September in a very public, very messy way.

 

 

 

 

They both look cute together, although I preferred the Jordin/Jason pair!
