Ajimobi becomes first Oyo governor to get elected twice

 

Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi has become the first governor of the state to be elected twice.
Ajimobi defeated two Alao-Akala and Rashidi Ladoja, two former governors in the state to coast to the victory in the governorship election of the state.

Although INEC is yet to officially declare him winner, Ajimobi has so far won 20 out of the 33 local governments in the state while Ladoja won seven and Akala took six.
